Situated between the European Parliament and the
European Commission, Chapel of the Resurrection serves as a space of prayer,
liturgies and encounters for the European Christian community.
It is run by a non-profit organization "Chapel for Europe" with the aims to
"promote ecumenical cooperation and reality and to develop religious, social and
cultural activities".
Pastoral team,
with the pastoral leader
Dominique Sadoux, a sister of the Sacred Heart, with its
variety of tasks, nationalities, ages, confessions and professions represents
the different sectors of activity in the Chapel. Thus this place is a
symbol of Christian spirituality at work in the heart of the European project,
through the Christians involved in the many neighbouring institutions.
Every weekday between 11a.m. and 3p.m., volunteers take it in turns to receive
passers-by, tourists, those who wish to pray, the curious and local officials
interested in the project.
